Science applied to the farm.
Over 50 international peer-reviewed publications, doctoral team, on-site farming area for validation, and institutional partnerships that take us from lab to field in one circuit.
Four fronts - grants, partners, publications, projects.
Each front has its own listing, with internal linking to the commercial services and products derived from it.
Grants & Funding
Public grants received and approved applications - PRR, PDR, StartUP Portugal, IDE-RAM and other programmes that sustain our R&D programme and current/past projects.
Institutional Partnerships
Research centres and universities with which we keep active collaborations - ISOPLEXIS (UMA, Prof. Miguel Carvalho) and PHYTOALGAE. Institutional partnerships list to expand as new protocols come online.
Scientific Publications
Over 50 international peer-reviewed publications. Articles on microbiome, specialized biofertilization, agri-food analysis, HACCP and agronomic characterization.
R&D Projects
Ongoing research lines and projects framed in public programmes - with FertiSOLO (StartUP Portugal) as the lead, source of the Digital Fertilization Plan.
Four scientific fronts, all commercialized.
Each research line has a direct counterpart in our service catalogue - no science gets shelved.
Microbiome and native rhizobacteria
Isolation, identification and characterization of the bacterial communities in each farm's soil. Our biofertilizer formulations start from this inventory and reproduce the local microbiome - at industrial scale - rather than imposing generic strains.
See Biofertilizers →Digital Fertilization Plan (FertiSOLO project)
The flagship line of our R&D programme. Combines three components: edaphoclimatic characterization, custom biotech formulation and probe-based monitoring. Framed within StartUP Portugal under the internal name FertiSOLO, with patent pending.
See Digital Fertilization Plan →Composting and circular economy
Accelerated biotransformation of agricultural residues using proprietary inoculants (saprophytic bacteria and fungi). Enables farms to close the organic-matter cycle internally, reducing costs and reliance on external substrates.
See Composting Inoculants →Agri-food characterization
Physico-chemical, phytosanitary and nutritional analysis - the scientific base for HACCP, organic certification and regulatory validation. Also supports grant applications (PRR, PDR, StartUP Portugal).
