This page explains what personal data AGROFOOD TECHIS, Lda. collects through this website, why, and how you can exercise your rights.

What we collect and why

When you send the contact form we receive your name, email, phone number if you give one, the area and service you are interested in, your answers to that service's questions and your message. We also receive how you reached the site (for example a QR code, a search engine or a direct visit) and the first page you opened, so we know which channels bring enquiries. We use this to answer your request and, where relevant, to prepare a proposal. The legal basis is your request (steps prior to a contract) and, for how you reached the site, our legitimate interest in knowing which channels work.

Who processes the data for us

Form submissions are received and stored by Netlify, which hosts the site, and reach us by email through Cloudflare's forwarding to the company mailbox (Microsoft Outlook). Some of these providers may process data outside the European Union, with the safeguards the GDPR requires. We do not sell or pass personal data to third parties.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries for as long as we need them to answer and to follow up any business that comes from them, and delete them afterwards unless the law requires us to keep them.

Your rights

You can ask for access to, correction, erasure, restriction or portability of your data, and object to its processing, by writing to [email protected]. You can also complain to the Portuguese data protection authority, CNPD (www.cnpd.pt).

Cookies and browser storage

While you browse, the site keeps how you reached it in your browser's session storage, which is cleared when you close the tab. It only leaves your browser if you send the contact form.

The site uses no measurement or advertising cookies.

The contact page shows a Google Maps map. When it loads, Google may collect data about the visit under its own privacy policy.
