FertiSOLO — Microbiome-specialized biofertilization platform.
Project co-funded by the Recovery and Resilience Plan (PRR), framed within the StartUP Portugal programme. FertiSOLO is the scientific and technological foundation of the Digital Fertilization Plan.
Three project pillars
FertiSOLO combines agronomy, biotechnology and precision agriculture into a complete solution.
Pillar 1
Edaphoclimatic characterization
Detailed mapping of soil, climate, microbiome and plant status for each farm. The database is the starting point for any recommendation.
Pillar 2
Biotech formulation
Isolation, selection and industrial reproduction of native rhizobacteria from the local microbiome, adapted to each farm and crop.
Pillar 3
Continuous monitoring
Field probes and periodic technical support to adjust the fertilization plan throughout the crop cycle.
